My Mother’s Christmas Pudding Recipe passed down through several generations (The handwriting is her’s)
Ingredients

- 8oz raisins
- 4oz mixed chopped peel
- 3oz self raising flour
- 5oz bread crumbs
- 6oz brown sugar
- 8oz finely chopped suet (or butter)
- 1/2 teaspoon mixed spice

- 3 large eggs

- 6 tablespoons sherry
Instructions

- Assemble all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly
- Three quarters fill pudding basins and boil for five hours making sure the water doesn’t come over the lids
- I usually double the quantity and save some puddings for during the year.
They store very well in a cool dry place
